Conclusion and Good-bye It is here that I will stop and say good-bye. I hope this experience was helpful, it was for me. We have covered only the basics of variance management systems. This is a much deeper subject that most people expect at first glance. However, if you do it right your variance management system can provide a bountiful supply of process improvement insights. We will, based on your feedback, redesign this workshop over the Summer. We will make it a part of The Lyceum, an web based healthcare improvement community, where you can not only learn from me but also share learning and experiences with others interested in variance management systems. We will send you announcements on the Lyceum and other workshops in the near future. Anyone who wants to be a part of The Lyceum (teacher, discussion leader, content provider, member, sponsor, etc.) should contact me via email. We also provide variance management systems consulting, among other things. We can implement a Gateway Model variance management system in your organization.
